See What I Saw is the field journal of Rahul Jauhari — a photographer’s record of India’s wildlife and wild places.
By profession, Rahul is one of India’s most awarded creative leaders, with nearly three decades spent building brands and telling stories. He has served as Joint President & Chief Creative Officer at Rediffusion, held senior roles at Lintas and McCann Worldgroup, and founded the brand consultancy Flibbr. His work has been recognised at Cannes, WARC and the Effies, and he has sat on the jury of some of advertising’s most prestigious award shows, including Cannes.
Away from the studio, the same instinct for a story finds a different subject. With a long lens and a great deal of patience, he photographs the animals, birds and landscapes of the subcontinent — waiting for the light, and the moment, that says something true. Every frame here is paired with the story of how it was made, and the exact craft behind it.
The light is fleeting; the waiting is not.
